In the
GIACOMO SMITH Since growing up in Saratoga Springs, Giacomo has called London his home for years where he is now a full time musician. When you don't find him at his home club, London's "Kansas Smitty's", with his group of the same name, you may find him playing elsewhere around London. He has been a regular at Le QuecumBar - Hot Club of London, London's premier gypsy swing club, where he has played with London's and Europe's top players. In his time in the UK, he has performed at London's major jazz venues, (Ronnie Scott's, 606 Club, Vortex), the Hackney Empire, Waterloo Vaults, and the Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room. Giacomo's will be joined by Ed Green on cello, and Mark Kleinhaut on guitar for the first set. After a short intermission, Giacomo will join Hot Club of Saratoga for a set of gypsy swing. |
